After chatting with a friend over the weekend about their newly purchased coastal property, I've been thinking of the endless ways to deck out a place on the beach by drawing inspiration from those that have got it down to a T.
Nothing will ever scream 'I live by the sea' like blue and white.....but residents of Nantucket, Palm Beach and The Hamptons show us how Beach House Chic is done - proof that achieving the nautical look doesn't have to be quite so literal as hanging life rings from the walls...
...and obviously, if you're unfortunate enough to have a coastal property....you'll be needing something extremely uncomfortable to enjoy the view on....
